Christopher MacPherson, son of James and Sandra MacPherson and former pupil of Ballachulish Primary and Kinlochleven High School, graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a biological science degree with Honours in genetics.

Rachel MacLeod, daughter of Linda and Donald MacLeod of Corpach, graduated recently with a BEd (Honours) in primary education from Strathclyde University, Glasgow. She is a former pupil of Kinmylies Primary and Charleston Academy, Inverness, and Lochaber High School, Fort William.

Amanda-Jane MacDonald graduated recently from Edinburgh University with a Bachelor of Education with Honours in primary education. She is the daughter of Joanna and Alex, and the grand-daughter of Sheila and the late Iain Dubh MacDonald and of Ena and the late John MacDonald, all Fort William.
