Lindsay Egan, a former pupil of Upper Achintore Primary and Lochaber High School, graduated from Edinburgh University with a PhD in solid state chemistry. Lindsay is the daughter of Fraser and Norma Egan, of Fassifern Road, Fort William.

Christopher Drain, a former pupil of Fort William Primary and Lochaber High School, graduated from Strathclyde University with a BSc (Hons) in maths with teaching. He is currently doing his probationary year at Ardnamurchan High School.
