We have reintroduced our popular glam feature for Highland beauties and teamed up with Inverness-based Ego Hair Design to incorporate a competition offering over £2,000 prizes. And each week website readers can see the latest lovely lasses.
Readers get the chance each week to vote using an in-paper coupon for their favourite contestant who will go forward to a grand final with the overall winner crowned the Face of Ego 2009.
That means a full make-over from Ego and a picture portfolio from an exclusive photoshoot with Seymour Photography with the lucky lass's image then featuring on Ego's promotional material for at least one year.
And there is a special prize up for grabs for those voting during the competition of a VIP personal shopper experience at Debenhams Inverness with £100 to spend.
The weekly winners go forward to a grand final charity fashion show at the Waterside Hotel, Inverness, in October with the proceeds going to the CLIC Sergeant children's cancer appeal. The overall winner will be chosen at the fashion show.
In addition to the modelling and photo portfolio prize, the winner will also receive a super package including:
- A VIP card from Ego worth over £450;
- A three-night stay in one of the Macdonald Aviemore Highland Resorts 5-star woodland lodges which can sleep up to six;
- £150 to spend at the new Dress 2 Impress designer boutique in Castle Street, Inverness;
- £100 to spend at the Joy fashion store in the Eastgate Shopping Centre, Inverness.
