POLICE are appealing for information after tools, including several chainsaws, and cash were stolen from a plant hire company in Fort William.
The premises of Russell Plant Hire Ltd on the Ben Nevis Estate were broken into sometime between 5pm on Wednesday and 7am on Thursday.
The items stolen are:
Two 35cc EFCO Chainsaws, red in colour;
Three Oregon Chainsaw helmets, Sarawak model, orange in colour;
One Karcher carpet cleaner, yellow in colour;
Four Oregon Chainsaw chains in boxes;
Three Makita cordless drill/drivers in blue carry cases;
One Stihl cut-off grinder, orange in colour;
Two Oregon Chainsaw sharpening kits, stored in orange canvas rolls;
One set of Duro Diamond Core Drills in grey carry case;
A number of Husqvarna and Stihl customer-owned Chainsaws, of varying sizes.
Police said a "small" sum of cash was also taken during the raid.
