This year's ceremony will now go ahead after initially being cancelled.

CLANSMEN and clanswomen have rallied to ensure the annual commemoration of the Massacre of Glencoe will go ahead after all.

As the Lochaber News revealed last week, the Clan Donald Society of Edinburgh had announced that the ceremony - due to take place on February 13 - had been cancelled for the first time in living memory because of weather concerns.
